CARDIOVASCULAR: Vitamin C supplementation has been shown to reduce blood pressure in those with hypertension by American Journal of Cardiology - Patients with coronary artery disease who take a vitamin E supplement have 77% less chance of fatal heart attack. Studies correlate this with a reduction of hospital admissions for non-fatal heart attack, and a potential per-patient cost savings of $578, totaling $578 million in the US.
