ADHD and Food Sensitivity

A double-blind, randomized study was conducted to find if food sensitivity could be linked to ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder) in children (aged 4 – 8). While there were some initial improvements with the ARS scores (ADHD rating scale) for the children on elimination diets, relapses also occurred. The study found that yes, there was a link of ADHD and food sensitivities, however, IgG blood tests were not reliable in identifying specific food sensitivities in children. Lancet.

Bad Breath and Green Tea

Green tea is already known to help fight off heart disease and cancer, and to lower cholesterol, but a recent study has also show that the polyphenol antioxidants in green tea can combat bad breath, tooth decay and mouth cancer. (See Antioxidant Spectrum™, Probiodent™) Prepared Foods.

Sugared Drinks Increase Heart Disease Risk

Harvard researchers have completed a multi-decade study on the relationship between sugared drinks and heart disease. The study included some 18,000 participants.

Their conclusion is that that sugared drinks, even one per day, increases one's risk of heart disease by 20%. Men who consumed sugared drinks daily had higher levels of lipids like triglycerides, and lower levels of HDL (good cholesterol).

While this study included exclusively men, similar research has been conducted with women, and the results were much the same.

The conclusion of one of the doctors involved in the study is that sugary drinks should be recognized as a treat, and not a dietary norm. (See Protein Key™) Prepared Foods.

Feel the Difference Already
"After reading the Protein Key website (ProteinKey.com), I was really impressed. I liked the logic and science and the idea of a product not all sugared and colored. I now mix this with many foods and make shakes that substitute for meals. I am already starting to feel the difference and my cravings have definitely subsided--which have given me way too many pounds over the years! I have used your pet foods for decades and often wished I could be as healthy as them--one now into his late teens. Thanks for all you do and for extending your knowledge to us human pets."

Cat Feeling Better
"My diabetic cat has been feeling much better since switching to Epigen 90™ dry food and Au Jus™ wet food…Thanks so much!"

Dog Doing Well On Maintenance™
"My Weimaraner is 3 and since starting your Maintenance™ food, her poo is consistently hard for the first time EVER! I am so happy."

Much More Energy
"I had lost my dog Sugar in December 2011 of congestive heart failure. She was a 9-year-old Pomeranian. I noticed for a long time, she, plus her 2 four-year-old puppies, Pee Wee and Pietro, didn't have much energy. In addition, I had to carry Sugar down the steps. Pietro is starting to have joint problems like his mother also. Well I recently had my dogs try your dog food plus the Dream Treats™. Let me tell you, it has only been a couple weeks and these dogs go running down the steps, and they keep running up to me wanting to play. I just can hardly believe the difference. I read all the information you sent. I had my dogs on what I thought was a good quality dog food, but now I know the truth; you can't argue with success. I really believe if I would have kept them on it (the other dog food), I would of lost them both at an early age. This is really an answered prayer. Thank you for giving my dogs their lives back. My husband can see the change in them too. Pietro is losing weight, his joints are better, and their hair is so much more shiny, and their energy level is improving. Just wanted to take the time to say thank you."
