Third-Hand Smoke: The New Cigarette Hazard

Being a cigarette smoker or being in the presence of someone who is currently smoking are not the only hazards related to smoking. Smoking in your home/car even when alone still presents health hazards to others.

After the smoke has dissipated, toxic particulate matter will be left behind for others to come in contact with. These residual "third hand smoke" materials are especially hazardous to infants and children. By crawling and playing on surroundings that have been contaminated with third-hand smoke, hazardous residual materials can be ingested via hand/mouth contact.

Cigarette smoke has been proven to contain over 250 toxic gases, metals and chemicals including hydrogen cyanide, carbon monoxide, butane ammonia, toluene, arsenic, lead, chromium, cadmium and the radioactive carcinogen polonium-210. Pediatrics.

Off-Label Prescription Drugs Often Lacking Scientific Evidence

The U.S. FDA approves drugs for specific purposes. However, once a drug is approved, doctors can prescribe it for any use. According to a new study, more than one out of every seven prescriptions is for off-label uses that have no scientific support backing them.

In 2001, there were roughly 150 million prescriptions for off-label drug uses, about 21 percent of the total prescriptions given. However, almost three-quarters of those off-label prescriptions were for purposes that had no studies or scientific backing validating the use. Off-label prescription was most common for heart drugs and anti-seizure medication. This is not to say that even "on-label" drugs are safe. The evidence proves that none of them are. No disease was ever caused by a drug deficiency. Archives of Internal Medicine.

Fighting Prostate Cancer with Curcumin

Curcumin, a curry spice also known as turmeric, may be useful in the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer.

It is particularly effective when combined with phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC), which is found in vegetables such as watercress, cabbage, broccoli, kale, and cauliflower. When the two substances were used together, cancerous tumor growth was significantly slowed. (See Joint Complex™, Arthegic™, Hepticene™) Cancer Research.

Can't Live Without the Insoles™
"I have tried a lot of insoles. Dr. Wysong's are the only ones I can't live without."

Protein Key™ Fills
"... in shakes it is great. I also just take a heaping tablespoon full whenever I am hungry between meals. It almost immediately gives me a satisfied feeling. Thanks for making this great natural weight loss product."

Protein Key™ and Muscle Power
"As a body builder who has taken supplements forever, I must say your Protein supplement is the best healthy design I have seen. I have never felt comfortable eating all the sugared concoctions out there."

Commitment to Informing Pet Owners
"I appreciate Wysong's obvious commitment to providing very high quality pet foods, and the lengths you go to keep pet owners informed!"

Epigen™ Improves Health for Ferrets
"Hi! Our names are George and Ringo. We're two lovely little ferrets with a really big problem. It's so big that I stole mom's iPhone to send you this email.

When we came to live here our coats were dull and not at all soft. George was a bit chubby around the middle. Mom tried other pet store foods but George didn't like them and he started to get really skinny. I was very worried about him. Finally mom got us some Wysong Epigen. Instantly George started eating again! He gained weight, but good weight. He's becoming more lean and muscular. Now sometimes he picks on me, which he never used to do. Don't worry, I show him who's boss around here.

George thinks I should mention that even when Mom mixes our food with other things we make a huge mess digging through it all searching for the Wysong bits."

Outstanding Products
"My dog loves it too. He recognizes that the Wysong box is just for him! We appreciate your outstanding products ...Thank you for everything you do to make the lives of our pets happy and healthy..."

Cats Love Epigen™
"I am currently trying the Epigen on my 12 cats (including 3 finicky eaters), and all 12 acted like they have never been fed before- to the point some starting hissing at others when they came near their plates. I am very impressed with Wysong as a company and what it stands for, and at the same time disturbed by the fallacies we have been ‘fed’ by commercial pet food companies, even ones that are ‘super premium’. I have been reading all articles on your website non-stop for two weeks and I am amazed at the findings."
